Unlike larger practices where there are so many employees that it’s virtually impossible to learn all of their names (and you rarely see the same one twice), we have a small staff but one that will give you the personalized care and attention you deserve.

Meet our Staff

Our dental hygienist, Teresa, was raised in Mexico and comes from a very large, loving family. She received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 1986 and then practiced in Mexico for eleven years. Teresa received her dental hygiene degree two and a half years ago, and she absolutely loves the work she does at Hale Dental. Teresa has lived in the United States for 11 years now, and she and her husband of seven years enjoy traveling together in their free time.

Our office manager, Janis, was born in North Carolina and raised in Germany. She has lived in the San Antonio area for seven years and has been working in the dental field for four years. One aspect of her job that she enjoys very much is working directly with the patients and being around people all day. She and her husband have been married for three years.

Mary Lou is our dental assistant who has been in the field for over 15 years now, and she loves her work! She enjoys working directly with the patients and thrives on the variety her work presents each day. Mary Lou is a single mother of three and actually is about to become a grandmother for the very first time! She enjoys volleyball and is a huge San Antonio Spurs basketball fan!

Our dental assistant, Bonita, is a newlywed with a little boy at home and a little girl on the way due in June 2008. She enjoys spending time with her family and her dog (her third child!) and has been in the dental field for just about a year now. Like the others, Bonita enjoys working with the patients and loves the energy that surrounds her work.
